Backyard Farmers provide a comprehensive range of raised garden beds both in size and shape.

Apart from the standard zincalume finish, the entire range of colorbond colours is available to choose from, to match your garden or home.

Each raised garden bed is manufactured from 6mm corrugated zincalume steel, the bed has no bottom and the top edge is trimmed or roll finished so that there are no sharp edges. Any joins are completed with blind rivets.

There are two standard heights, 400mm and 800mm, the latter making the bed easily accessible for the aged, disabled or infirmed home gardener.

A raised garden bed can be manufactured for you anywhere from 1.3m to 3.0m plus in length, and from 600mm to 1.5 meters in width.

In most instances, the steel tanks are cheaper than timber or block raised beds. They are strong, lightweight, and can be taken with you if you move home. The beds are safer than treated timber which may contain arsenic, plus water is not absorbed through the walls preventing wastage.
